On February 13, 2022, the artist Christina Yuna Lee was followed into her apartment in New York’s Chinatown and murdered. stephanie mei huang decided to curate the group exhibition “with her voice, penetrate earth’s floor” which will both mourn Lee’s death and commemorate her presence in the art world.
"People can come and pay tribute to her life and both celebrate her life and mourn its loss," curator Stephanie Mei Huang said.

The exhibit has a tenure of mourning Asian death," Huang said. "Hana has compiled these guns from headlines that list Asian hate crimes."
