Using spray paint at quite a distance allows me to have less control, to create unintentional mistakes and somehow surprise myself. Not having full control on the technique opens the space up to a new approach, compared with the initial sketches. - Ricardo Passaporte
Passaporte's work can be recognized by its solitary figures placed against monotonous backgrounds. Passaporte's stylized painting maniera and his artistic skills of transforming the colors that were covered with aerosols into an almost three-dimensional painting, may be seen as his signature.
